William "Bear" Thompson

Mr. William "Bear Thompson, 56, of 309 Columbus Street Union passed away Tuesday January 27 2026 at his home. Mr. Thompson was born December 19 1969 a son of the late Wilbur Thompson Jr. and Hattie Mae Mobley Thompson. Survivors include one son Willie Mac Walton,  a daughter Serena Tucker, a brother Pernel Thompson (Agnes), a sister Rosella Thompson and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 5 2026 at 1pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Jeter Chapel AME Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 12noon-5pm at the funeral home. Lewis Funeral Home and crematory has charge of the arrangements.
