Wilbur Thompson

Mr. Wilbur “Yook” Thompson Jr., 73, husband of Hattie Mae Mobley, of 203 c Tyger Court Union S.C., died Wednesday November 8^th 2017 at Heartland Nursing Home. He was born November 1^st 1944 a son of the late Wilbur Sr. and Rosa Addie Pendergrass Thompson. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons John Wilbur Thompson, Pernel Thompson, William “Bear” Thompson, one daughter Rosetta Thompson, three brothers Odell Thompson, James Arthur Thompson, Leroy (Geraldine) Thompson, five sisters Virginia (Curtis) Rice, Deloris (Lawrence) Booker, Debra (Christie) Johnson, Mae Francis Sartor, Dorothy Wallace, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and a dear friend of the home Kathleen Richardson. He was predeceased by one son Timothy Thompson, two brothers Ralph and Neville Thompson and on sister Betty Jean Thompson. Funeral services will be held Monday November 13^th 2017 at 1pm at Lewis Funeral home Chapel with Pastor Dudley Thompson III officiating. Public viewing will be held Sunday from 1-6pm at the funeral home.Burial will follow at Maple Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
