Mrs. Wanda Bates Calhoun, 70, wife of Mr. Tommy Calhoun of 104 Maple Street Union SC, died Tuesday September 1st 2020 at her home. Mrs. Calhoun was born November 10th 1949 a daughter of the late Lee and Naomi Knox Bates. She was a member of Mon-Aetna Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son Chip Calhoun (Jennifer), two brothers George Bates (Betty), Burton Bates, one sister Carolyn Watson (Hugh), three grandchildren Bailee, Alex and Colby Calhoun,two sisters-in-law Linda Gayle Jenkins, Shirley Messer, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a baby girl, Shelly Calhoun in Berlin Germany. Arrangements are incomplete. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements. lewisfuneralhomeofunion.com.
