Tayshaun Khalil Thompson

Tayshaun Khalil Thompson, 19, son of Mrs. Agnes Byrd and Pernell Thompson, of 128 Monroe Street Union. Tayshaun Khalil Thompson affectionately known as "Trap" passed away on February 21st, 2024 in Spartanburg South Carolina at the young age of 19. He was the brother of Pernell Thompson Jr, Christopher Flemming, TyKeezie Thompson, Satin Flemming and Aliyah Thompson. Tayshaun graduated from Union County High School in 2022. Tayshaun was a gifted sportsman, he played multiple sports throughout the years, his most notable was basketball. His shining smile and warm affection was known by many. Tayshaun was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Arthur and Pearlie Byrd and paternal grandparents Hattie Mae Mobley and Wilbur Thompson Jr. His maternal aunts Willie Ruth Byrd, Jo Ann Byrd and uncles Vernon Byrd and Robert Byrd and paternal uncle John Web Thompson. He leaves behind a loving family, his parents, brothers, sisters, a host of nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 29 2024 at 2pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 11am-5pm at the funeral home.. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements. The family is at the home.
