Sharonda Edwards

Sharonda Edwards, 41, of Carlisle, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 19th, in Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and the late Carole Edwards.

Sharonda accepted Christ into her life at a young age and attended James Chapel Baptist Church throughout her childhood and  later joined Carlisle Christian Fellowship Church. She was a  2000 graduate of Union High School and  later went on to graduate from USC Union with an Associate's Degree. She was a former employee at Jonesville Headstart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Estelle Thompson and Orlage and Rosa Lee Edwards.

Rhonda will b sweetly missed by her two dear children, Sharmari and Lonnie Edwards, her loving companion, James Cummings, a caring aunt, Maxine (Leroy) Dunlap, two wonderful uncles, Charles Edwards and Johnnie (Clista) Edwards, two special cousins Ruth McMorris and Kellie Edwards and a host of caring cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday August 25 2023 at 3 pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel.
