Mrs. Rozalyn Smith Kerr 75 wife of Richard B Kerr Sr. Went Home to be our Lord and Savior Wednesday December 27th, 2023. Rozalyn was born June 25th, 1948, in Augusta GA. A daughter of the late Robert Wesley Smith and Lillie Mae Hamilton Smith. Mrs. Kerr was a graduate of Jonesville High School, and was retired from Fluor Corp. She was a Wife, a Mother, a Sister and a Best Friend. Surviving to Cherish her memory is her Husband of 58 years, Richard Kerr Sr. Her Daughters, Paula Lancaster (Charlie)of Jonesville SC, Jennifer Johnson (Donnie) of Pauline SC, and Ericka Richard (Maxie) of North Augusta SC. Her Sons, Richard Kerr Jr (Angie) of Inman SC and Robert Kerr (Heather) of Pacolet SC. Her Grandchildren, Kelly Lancaster (Sarah), Courtney Kerr, Dawlton Peters, Cody Kerr (Kayla), Jessica Williams (Stephen), Megan Horton (Corey), Nicklaus Richard, Ethan Kerr (Heather), Ty Peters (Olivia), Logan Kerr (Cheyanne), Abbie Kerr (Austin), Hunter Johnson, Landon Kerr, Jaci Kerr, and Zayden Williams. She had 16 Great Grand Children. Her Sisters, Bessie Law (Jimmy) of Alabama, Reba Smith of South Carolina, Leila Sineath of Georgia. Her Brothers, Ronnie Smith (Gail) of Georgia, Allen Smith (Justine) of Georgia, Robert Smith (Zettie) of North Carolina, Roby Chaney (Betty) of Georgia and Bobby Chaney (Song) of Texas. Rozalyn was predeceased by, Her Grandson Jeremy Chase Lancaster, Her Parents Robert and Lillie Smith, Her Step-Mother Elizabeth Smith, brothers Richard Smith and Reid Chaney. Graveside services will be held Wednesday January 3 2024 at 1pm at Jonesville Memorial Gardens officiated by pastor Randy Burgess. The family will receive friends following the service. The family is at the home of her daughter Jennifer Johnson, 5015 Stone Station Road Pauline SC. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
