Robert Wilson Ward Sr.

Mr. Robert Wilson Ward, 77, husband of Linda Ward, of 2517 Lockhart Highway, Union SC, died Monday September 12 2022 at his home. Mr. Ward was born June 4 1945 a son of the late Woodrow W. and Ruby Stines Ward. Mr. Ward was of the Baptist faith and served in the National Guard. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grand father. Mr. Ward had a great passion for machining and building custom firearms and built many custom rifles for Union Locals and several celebrities and athletes. He loved Hunting, fishing, traveling and living life. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son Robert Wilson Ward II "Roscoe" and wife Cheryl, one sister Nora Ward Sandlin and husband Wayne, and two grandchildren Adam Taylor Ward and Alex Justin Brown (Morgan) also survived by nephews Capt (Ret) US Coast Guard Ward Sandlin (Mindy), Donald Sandlin (Melinda) great nephews Logan and Noah Sandlin, and great niece Katie Sandlin. Memorial services will be held Saturday September 17 2022 at 3pm at Mon-Aetna Baptist Church. The family is at the home. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
