Paul John Rhinehart Sr.

Mr. Paul John Rhinehart Sr. 76, husband of Mrs. Trudie Davis Rhinehart of 130 Simmons Road Union died Saturday September 23 2023 at his home. Mr. Rhinehart was born July 10 1947 a son of the late James and Mary Trammell Rhinehart. He was a United States Veteran having served four years in the Army and two years in the Navy with two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Rhinehart also retired from the National Guard after 28 years of service. Paul was a member of Padgetts Creek Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons Paul John Rhinehart Jr., Eric Fleming (Marie), Allen Rhinehart (Tina), one daughter Lori Rhinehart, one brother Floyd Rhinehart (Debra), fourteen grandchildren Brooke and Jared Harvey, Myranda and Matthew Rhinehart, Haley Rhinehart, Megan, Cortney, Hannah, Kinsley, Marissa, Tyler and Dakota Fleming, and Heath and Nick Fleming, fourteen great grandchildren, Zeremih, Juelz, Jeremy, and Loriana Thomas, Andrew, Layla, Phoebe and Harley Fleming, Astella Gardner, Kylie , Emma, Michael, Naveah and Adalyn Fleming, one great great grandchild Noah Fleming, and a special daughter-in-law Susan Fleming. He was predeceased by three brothers Ben, Ronnie and Steve Rhinehart and three sisters Martha, Virginia and Diane Rhinehart. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm at Padgetts Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8pm at the home, 130 Simmons Road Union SC 29379. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of t he arrangements.
