Michael Kim Rex

Michael Rex, 77, formerly of Greenville, SC, died Saturday, July 30, 2022 in Columbia, SC after a long illness. Michael was a graduate of Union High School and Appalachian State Teachers College. Michael also served in the US Army during the Viet Nam war. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Jack Rex and Doris Rex of Union.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Rex of Greer SC and Jonathan Rex of Largo FL. Michael is also survived by his sister Lizann Rex of Fort Mill, SC.
Graveside services will be held Thursday,11 am August 4, 2022, at Union Memorial Cemetery with the Rev Dale Sutton of Overbrook Baptist Church, Greenville, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Overbrook Baptist Church, 1705 E North Street, Greenville, SC or Grace United Methodist Church, 201 S Church Street, Union, SC 29379
