Mattie Lee Thomas

Ms. Mattie Thomas 96, widow of Mr. Leo Lt Thomas  of 122  Sims Dr Union SC, passed away April 1st, 2025. Ms. Thomas was born July 4th 1928, daughter of the late Waitis and Eva Johnson Cheek. Survivors include four daughters Julia Walton, Bonnie Thomas, Barbara Peake (Bobby), Michelle Thomas, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers Herman Cheek, Charlie Cheek, Raymond Cheek, Leroy Cheek, Theodore Cheek, four sisters Juanita Good, Carrie Smith, Ruth Gist, Janie Lee Flowers, one grandchild Chartay Jeter, and one great grandchild Cornelius Berry.Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 8 2025 at 2pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Public viewing will be held Monday from 12-5pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at 113 Cindy Lane Union SC. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements
