Mr. Matthew Johnson, 57, husband of April Johnson of 146 Spring Street Carlisle died Wednesday December 20 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Johnson was born June 4 1966 a son of the late John Wadious and Elizabeth Peake Johnson. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son Matthew Johnson Jr., two daughters Shyknequa Nicole Johnson, Jessica Lasha Johnson, two brothers Robert Lewis Johnson, Leroy Johnson, and two sisters Dorothy Boler and Lisa Marie Johnson. he was predeceased by a brother Wadious Johnson Jr. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 28 2023 at 2pm at Williams Chapel in Carlisle. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 12-5pm at the funeral home. The family is at the home 146 Spring Street Carlisle. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
