Marion "Bubba" Mitchell Jr.

Mr. Marion "Bubba" Mitchell,  Husband of Mrs. Rosalyn Thomas Mitchell, of 210 General Lee Drive, died Sunday August 11th 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Mitchell was born December 30th 1952 a son of the late Marion Mitchell Sr. and Beatrice Coleman Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a Veteran having served in the  U.S. Army.  Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons DeWayne Washington of Texas, Malik Thomas, John Russell Thomas, four daughters Brandy Adkins (Aaron), Chasity Thomas, Belinda Sloss, Kimberly Land, three brothers Johnny Mitchell (Elizabeth), Lawrence Mitchell, Scott Davis (Sharon), three sisters Clara Mitchell (Harold), Grace Hughes (Paul), Cleo Mitchell (Ralph), seven grandchildren, Zy, Bee, AJ, Star, Jaleah, Mary, Wayne Jr., and a aunt Mamie Mitchell. Funeral services will be held Friday August 16th 2019 at 2pm at McBeth Baptist Church with Pastor Freddie Wicker Jr. officiating. The family will recieve friends at the home. Public viewing will be held Thursday from 11am-7pm a the funeral home. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements. lewisfuneralhomeofunion.com.
