Marie Whitener Obituary
Mrs. Marie "Pie" Savage Whitener, 91, of 4418 Fishdam Avenue Carlisle SC, widow of Mr. Horace Whitener died Wednesday May 17 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mrs. Whitener was born August 2 1931 a daughter of the late James and Lenora Jeter Savage. Survivors include two sons Eric Savage, Rodney Whitener Sr., three daughters Linda Clark (John), Rose Mickens, and Marcella Whitener. Services will be held Thursday May 25 2023 at 12noon at Seekwell Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11am-12noon at the church prior to the service. Public viewing will be held Wednesday at the funeral home from 12-5pm . Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
