Mrs. Margie "Mot" Newton Garner, 82, of 440 Tinsley Road Pacolet, widow of Mr. Donald Garner died Wednesday October 6 2021 at her home. Mrs. Garner was born January 29 1939 a daughter of the late James Elijah and Loree Phillips Newton. Mrs. Garner was a member of The Full Gospel Tabernacle of God. She was also Licensed Amateur Radio Operator, call sign (KG4RTP). Survivors include two sons Donald L Garner (Debra), Kenny W. Garner (Melanie), one daughter Pamela G Keisler (Harold), one brother Elsie Newton, and one grandchild reared in the home Michelle "Boop Boop" Austin. She also had eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a daughter LeShay Garner, two brothers Buddy and Red Newton, two sister Dorothy "Tootie" Boulware and Brenda "Babe" Scott and one grandchild Michael Lee Garner. Memorial services will be held Monday October 11 2021 at 3pm at Full Gospel Tabernacle of God with Pastor Ricky Cook officiating. Visitation will follow the memorial service at the Church.
