Margaret (Hooper) Winchester

Mrs. Margaret Hooper Winchester, 97,  of 509 Happy Valley Road, died Sunday October 25th 2020 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Winchester was born October 18th 1923 a daughter of the late Dewey and Gracie Mae Hooper. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons David Winchester of Newberry, Henry Barry Winchester Sr. of Taylors, one sister Betty Vinson of Spartanburg, four sisters-in-law Lucille Hooper, Lois Hooper, Bobby Hooper and Shirley Hooper, and twelve grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter Brenda Pridemore, two sons Doug Winchester, Mac Winchester, five brothers Charles, Raymond, J.C., Floyd and Hal Hooper, and three sisters Evelyn Smith, Diane Hooper, and Inez Crawford. Graveside services will be held Wednesday October 28th 2020 at 1:30pm at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon- 1:15pm at the funeral home prior to the service. The family is at the home, 509 Happy Valley Road.
