Margaret Mary Cannon

Our dear mother and grandmother, Margaret Mary Cannon, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on January 22, 1942, in Lynn, Massachusetts, to Joseph and Christine Berube, Margaret was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in caring for others.  

Margaret grew up alongside her siblings, Joseph Berube, Mary Lou Rothschild, and Jane Berube, in a close-knit family. Though she held various jobs throughout her life, her greatest happiness came from nurturing her loved ones. Her kindness, faith, and selflessness touched everyone who knew her.  

A woman of deep faith, Margaret loved the Lord and has now been called home to watch over all of us. She leaves behind her loving children and their spouses: Christine King, Robert Cannon, Teri Cannon, and Stephen Cannon & fiancee Daniela. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Chandler Cannon & wife Morgan, Nolan Cannon and Rylan Cannon, David Harden, Brian King & wife Brittany, Kelly Reedy & husband Mitch, and Laura Bauknight & husband Robert. She was also blessed with ten adored great-grandchildren: Eli Carlino, Isaac Carlino, Jacob Hill, Natalie King, Emmett King, Sam Hash, Annie Reedy, Max Reedy, Kaylee Riera, Zola Baulknight.

Margaret’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family.  

A private memorial service will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests prayers or donations to your local humane society which was close to Margaret’s heart.
