Lois Medford (Medford) Hooper

Mrs. Lois Medford Hooper, 90, of 538 Happy Valley Union, widow of Mr. Joseph Clarence "Jake" Hooper died Wednesday April 19 2023. Mrs. Hooper was born December 7, 1932 a daughter of the late Howard Lavon and Marie Sumner Medford. Mrs. Hooper had retired from Conso Products and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters Gail H. Hurst and husband Mike of Spartanburg, Lori H. Patrick and husband Troy of York , five grandchildren Scott Lewis and wife Angela, Joey Lewis and wife Jane, Cliff Patrick and wife Monica, Kole Patrick, Kyle Patrick and wife Chelsey, eight great grandchildren Jordan Lewis and wife Brittany , Jana Lewis, Averie Lewis, Laken Lewis, Maci Kay Patrick, Triston Patrick, Tripp Patrick, Trevor Patrick, two special nieces and caregivers Tina Lancaster and Janet M. Eubanks one sister-in-law Betty Medford and many other special nieces nephews cousins and friends. She was predeceased by one brother John Howard Medford, and two sisters June M. Lawter and Nina M. Lankford. Graveside services will be held Friday at 3pm at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
