Mr. Lewis Smith Jr., of 222 S. Boyce Street, Union, husband of Mrs. Bobbie Smith died Saturday August 10th 2019 at his home. Lewis Jr. was born February 12th 1950 a son of the late Lewis Smith Sr. and Elizabeth Eison Smith. Lewis loved the Lord in his own special way. He was a graduate of Sims High School , Class of 1968, and was a domestic worker for many trades. He loved his family and friends , his gentle smile will be greatly missed by those who loved him.  Survivors in addition to his wife are five children, Pastor James Smith (Thelma), Joseph Smith (Chrystal), Benjamin Smith, Casandra Tucker, Carmen Renee Davis, six step children, Linda Thompson (Terry), Dwight Smith, Terrel Smith, LaTasha Farr, Ursula Jennings (Jack), Nian Denise Thompson, three sisters Georgia M. Peale, Minnie Pearl Rice, Bernestine Gregory, one brother McArthur Glenn (Betty), twenty grandchildren, twenty greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by two brothers Ervin Smith, Myles Smith, and three sisters Virginia S. Beaty, Beverly L. Smith, and Perrie L. Smith Segres. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 at 2pm at Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor James Smith officiating. The family will recieve friends at the home.
