Leonard Howell Green

Mr. Leonard Howell Green, 81, husband of Mrs. Roberta J. Green, of 619 Santuc Drive Union SC died Thursday April 21 2022 at his home. Mr. Green was born May 14 1940 a son of the late Hobert and Lula Bentley Green. Mr. Green was a member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #75, a Shriner, was a US Veteran having served in Navy, and had retired from The SC National Guard after 36 years of service. He was also a Volunteer Fireman for Santuc Fire Department for several years. Mr. Green was an avid Hunter and fisherman and enjoyed going RVing, working in his shop and cooking BBQ. He loved his animals, loved to joke and loved his home in Santuc SC. He loved and was devoted to his Family his Community and his Country. Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years are one brother Aubrey Green and wife Peggy, and one sister Linda Krauss of Durham NC. He was predeceased by three brothers Edgar Green, Bobby Green, Donald Green, and two sisters Lillie Copeland, and Magdalene Sumner. Memorial services will be held Saturday April 30 2022 at 2pm at Duncan Acres United Methodist Church with Pastors Merritt Wintz and Scott Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites and Military Honors. Visitation will be held at the cemetery following the service.
