Korean War Veteran
John Lee Ward,  Sr., 89, widower of Annette Trakas Ward, died July 4, 2020. 
Mr. Ward was born on Feb. 28, 1931, a son of the late Arthur Edward Sr. and Nora Summey Ward. He was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the Korean War. 
Survivors include two  sons, Timothy Lynn Ward and John Lee Ward, Jr.; one daughter, Cindy Grady Wright; one sister, Faye Henderson; four grandchildren: Shelli Wright Powell, Mitchell Lee Ward, Nicholas Adam Ward and Meredith Katherine Ward; one great-grandchild, Rhett Canty.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m.  Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Union Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge  of the arrangements.
