Joann Walton Robinson, born on November 25, 1955, in Union, South Carolina, was the beloved daughter of the late J.T. Walton and the late Maggie Bell Walton. On December 23, 2024, Joann peacefully entered eternal rest at her home, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.

A proud and loving mother to three children, and two grandchildren, Joann cherished her role as a parent and grandparent, guiding her family with unwavering care and compassion. She was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she actively participated in field service, demonstrating her deep faith and commitment to sharing her beliefs.

Joann’s life was a testament to her enduring strength, faith, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

Joann Robinson, a woman of unwavering love and resilience, leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and profound impact. She is survived by her devoted children: a daughter, Katina Robinson; two sons, Gerell Robinson (LaDeshia) and Bobby Robinson; and her beloved grandchildren, Gerell Robinson Jr. and Tyler Robinson, who brought her endless joy and pride.

Joann’s family circle extends to her siblings: James (Julia) Walton, Rufus (Martha) Walton, Eunice (Jimmy) Smith, and Linda Norman, all of Union, SC. She is also fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends who were blessed by her warmth, kindness, and steadfast support.

She is preceded in death by her loving sister, Lillie Mae Jennings; her great-nephew, James Ruth; her niece, Jacqueline Jennings; her parents, Maggie, and J.T. Walton; her aunt and uncle, Bobby Cohen, and Virginia (Sims) Cohen; her cherished aunt, Annie Pearl Farr; and her dear brother, Randy Walton (Terri). Joann is now reunited with them in eternal rest, their spirits forever intertwined.

Joann’s life was defined by her remarkable work ethic and commitment to serving others. Her career began at Wallace Thompson Hospital, where she worked diligently as a domestic technician. She later lent her talents to Buffalo Mill and Monarch Mill before embarking on nearly two decades of dedicated service at Conso Products Company. When Conso closed its doors, Joann’s resourcefulness shone as she transitioned to setting up machinery in Greenwood, a testament to her adaptability and determination.

Her career journey continued at Louis Rich Company, where her contributions were equally valued. In her later years, Joann found fulfillment in Field Service, dedicating herself to helping and supporting others with her characteristic passion and dedication.
