Jimmy Franklin Martin

Mr. Jimmy Franklin Martin, 67, Husband of Mrs. Cheryl Ivey Martin, of 708 East Main Street Union, died Saturday November 13 2021 at Spartanburg Restorative Care. Mr. Martin was born May 9 1954 a son of the late Thomas Martin and Carrie Inman Austin. He was predeceased by his Step Father Billy Ray Austin. Mr. Martin was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son Timothy Martin (Amber), one daughter Angel Ochiltree (Josh), three brothers Tommy Martin, Sam Martin (Penny), David Martin (Faye), two sisters Linda Jolly, Polly Reasoner, six grandchildren Libby Allison (Mikey Steele), Peyton Ochiltree, Jaden Ochiltree, Colton Ochiltree, Grayson Martin and Emma Martin. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, The Brown family and Gene Michali. Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 16 2021 at 3pm at Lakeside Baptist with Pastor Scott Cobb officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
