Jimmy Dawkins

Mr. Jimmy Dawkins, 78 husband of Mrs. Patsie Sims Dawkins of 202 Brockman Heights Union SC passed away Tuesday November 18 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Dawkins was born February 2 1947 a son of the late Willie and Polly Rice Dawkins. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Jimmie Dawkins Jr., five brothers Emitt Dawkins (Madora), Ozell Dawkins (Louise), Charles Dawkins (Kathleen), Willie Dawkins Jr., Leroy Beam, two sisters Mary E. Browning, Christine Dawkins, two grand children and seven  great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Alice Michelle Browning, one sister Louvenia Dawkins, three brothers James Rice, John Lee Rice, James Beam and a great grandchild Terriyah Jeter. Funeral services will be held Sunday November 23 2025 at 2pm  at Maple Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Saturday from 12noon-5pm at the funeral home. The family is at the home. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
