James Dean Mills

Mr. James Dean Mills, age 50, husband of Jennifer Moore Mills, passed away after a sudden illness on Friday, January 16, 2026, at their home 644 Bailey Road, Union, S.C. surrounded by his family.! Dean was born in Union, November 12, 1975, a son of the late J Harold Mills and Annette Copeland Mills. Dean was a Maintenance Technician for Gestamp. He is survived by his son Logan Dean Mills and wife Alexis, whom are expecting his first granddaughter Gianna, a brother Mark Mills, a niece Beth Mills, a mother-in law Mary Moore, sisters Angel Moore and fiancé Jamie Martin, Lacey Moore, and Danielle Moore, nieces and nephews Tyler Davis, Haleigh Burgess, Carter Davis, great neices Winter Miller, Ember Miller, and Raina Davis. He was predeceased not only by his mother and father, but also his beloved father-in law Freddie Moore. Dean was widely loved and recognized for his humor and kindness, often providing inspiration and guidance to those around him.! A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Lewis Funeral home, conducted by Rev. Larry Goins. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Tuesday prior to the services. The family is at the home 644 Bailey Rd. Union, SC, 29379.
