James Earl Gist

James Earl Gist, 67, of 341 Harlem Road Jonesville died Saturday April 8 2023 at his home.  Mr. Gist was born November 4 1955 a son of the late Leroy Sr. and Minnie Lindsey Gist. He was of the Baptist faith and had retired from the Union County School District. Mr. Gist is survived by one son Tiant Andrews, four sisters Willie Mae Gist, Annie Lou Howell, Patsy Lee Smith, Mary Elizabeth Gist, a special friend Edna Booker, and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers Wadist Gist, William Gist, Albert Gist, and Leroy Gist Jr. Memorial services will be held Tuesday April 25 2023 at 3pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
