James Wesley Childers

Mr. James “Jimmy” Wesley Childers, 59, passed away on April, 22, 2026 at home. Born on March 12, 1967 in Fort Mill, SC, he was the son of the late Terry R. Childers and Doris Childers. Jimmy worked as a machinist most of his life. He was wonderful at his trade and proud of his work. He loved music and strumming his guitar. He loved the Lord and we rejoice knowing we will see him again one day. He is survived by his 3 girls, Jamie Cook (Lewis), Caitlin White (Tyler) and Carissa Childers; 4 (soon to be 5) grandchildren; his sisters, Terri Ann Archie and Beverly Holcombe (Bo); his beloved Aunt Iris; nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and close friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Westerly Hills Baptist Church, 232 South Sutton Road Fort Mill SC 29708, with Pastor Randy Devinney officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 PM at the church prior to the service
