Ira Williams Obituary
Ms. Ira Lee Suber Williams, 77, of 1300 S. Pinckney Street Union passed away Thursday January 30 2025 at her home. Ms. Williams was born August 29 1946 a daughter of the late Lawyer and Mattie Tucker Suber. She was a member of James Chapel in Carlisle SC. Survivors include one son Jeffrey Williams and fiance' Sadaf Ghaffari, one brother Orson Suber (Carolyn), and four sisters Sadie Fillyaw, Minnie Griffith, Harriet Sims and Carolyn Mayfield. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 6 2025 at 11am at James Chapel Baptist Church in Carlisle SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Wednesday at the funeral home from 12-5pm. The family is at the home of her sister Mrs. Sadie Fillyaw 308 Oakdale Avenue Carlisle SC. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
