Harold Thompson

Mr. Harold Thompson, 71, of 617 Tuckertown Road Carlisle SC, widower of Mrs. Veronica Thompson, died Thursday August 11 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Thompson was born July 1 1951 a son of the late Gadberry and Adell Tucker Thompson.  Mr. Thompson was a devoted father who loved his family, he loved to smile ,dance and listen to music and loved doing for other people. Survivors include two sons Harold Thompson Jr. (Marlene), Eric J. Thompson (Tanica), one daughter Erica T. Ruth (Marcus), two sisters Andell Thompson, Ethel Lee Rice (Robert), and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by five brothers Rubin Thompson, Gadberry Thompson Jr., Joe Lewis Thompson, James Arthur Thompson, Leroy Thompson, and two sisters Bernice Thompson and Beatrice Thompson. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 20 2022 at 1pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Luke AME Zion Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday from 11-6pm at the funeral home. The family are at their respective homes.
