Grover Smith

Grover Smith, 83, of Talley Drive Union, SC husband of Cloriena Gregory Smith passed away Thursday June 8, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Smith was born January 9, 1940 to the late Woodrow and Alice Eison Smith. Surviving are one son Jared N. Smith Sr. (Angela),one daughter Monica R. Betsill (Joseph), one brother Nelson Smith, one sister Annie Porter, ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by one son Grover Smith Jr. "Kip", four brothers Cecil Smith, Julius Smith, Roy Lee Smith, Woodrow Smith Jr., and five sisters Millie Lindsay, Essie Merle Jennings, Aliceteen Harris Smith, Jessie Mae Stewart, and Rosa Lee Smith.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 11, 2023 at 1pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel.
