Grady Horne Obituary
Mr. Grady Horne, 80, husband of Mrs. Brenda Williams Horne, of 1988 Santuc Carlisle Highway, died Friday September 17th 2021 at his home. Mr. Horn was born June 28 1941 a son of the late Lewis and Estell Dobbs Horne. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and had retired from Cone Mills after forty seven years of service. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son Kenneth Horne and his wife Brandy, one daughter Susan Horne (Johnny Fleming), one sister Carole McMakin, five grandchildren Christa Austin, Mitchel Golden, Bella Horne, Miranda Autrey (Justin), Dixie Crocker, and two greatgrandchildren Paizleigh Horne and Lillie Autrey. he was predeceased by five brothers JD, Aubrey, Robert, Chalmers, and Harold Horne, and two sisters Ruth "Sis" Montgomery and Gladys Revis. Funeral Services will be held Monday September 20 2021 at 2pm at Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor Andrew Austin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the church prior to the service. Pallbearers include Dennis Horne, Craig Horne, Derrick Horne, Shannon McMakin, Justin Autrey and Cody Belue.
