Mr. Busbee was born in Aiken, SC November 23, 1941, a son of the late Julius Busbee and Clara Mae Mullins. He worked at Cone Mills for 37 years as a roller printer, Pillowtex, and later at Standard Textiles before retiring. Mr. Busbee had a heart of gold, loved life, and his family. His hobbies included driving his truck all around town, working on lawn mowers, watching westerns, cutting firewood, and spending time with the community at the Dairi-o and various locations in Union.  He was very spontaneous and kept everyone on their toes on where he would show up, and what he would be doing next.

He was predeceased by a brother, J. C. (Julius Charles) Busbee.
