Ernest Franklin Vinson

Mr. Ernest Franklin Vinson, 69, of 207 Cornwell Street Union passed away Tuesday May 12 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Vinson was born April 15 1956 a son of the late Jesse Warren Vinson and Nina Scott Shetley. Surviving are two brothers Mark Shetley (Angie) of Buffalo, Gene Shetley (Traci) of Union, two aunts Catherine Palmer of Columbia, Joan Witherington of Atlanta, one grandson Dillon Scott Smith and four great grandchildren Jaden Scott Smith, Audrey Smith, Zaniah Smith and Hazel Smith. He was predeceased by a daughter Tousha Vinson Smith, and two brothers Warren Vinson and Sammy Vinson. Mr Vinson was a graduate of Union High School. He was also a member of Buffalo Methodist Church, and was a construction worker by trade. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
