Elizabeth Humphries Obituary

Elizabeth Annette Campbell Humphries, age 53, passed away peacefully at her home on January 11, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, on June 23, 1972, she was the daughter of the late Harold Campbell Sr. and Doris Worthy. She also had a loving step-dad, Mike Worthy. A dedicated employee of Meyco Pool Covers, Annette was a devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend to all who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 33 years, Billy "Pee Wee" Wayne Humphries.

She is survived by her daughters, Brooke Lee and her husband Clint, Ashleigh Witt and her husband Alex, and Autamn Humphries, and her son, Rusty Humphries and wife Caitlyn, all of Union. She also leaves behind her brother, Harold Campbell Jr. and his wife Missy Campbell; sister, Crystal Meek; stepsisters, Jennifer and Amy Worthy; grandchildren, Ethan, Caylee, Declan, Brentley, Beckett, Waylon, Destiny, and Kaden; and a great-grandchild, Jaxon. She is further survived by many special friends, including Vicki and Rolph Toney, Kim and Dean Knighten, Nettie Duncan-Berry, Tammy Martin, William Moss, and Pastor Zach and wife AliceTaylor

A celebration of life will be held on February 28th at Bethel Apostolic Church of Union from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Following the service, the family will gather at 388 Vernon Foster Road, Union, SC. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Crescent Hospice and Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family is at home, 147 Duncan Ave, Buffalo, SC.
