Dorothy S. Smith, 77, of Union, SC passed away Wednesday June 7, 2023 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center. Dorothy was born June 19, 1945 to the late James T. Smith and Janie Sims Smith both of Union, SC. Surviving are two sons Robert Edward Smith and David Lee Smith, one daughter Tammy Smith, five brothers Rufus H. Smith, Earl Smith, Sr. (Bessie), James Smith (Evelyn), Bobby Smith, and Gregory Sims, two sisters Sally Cloyd (Leon) and Margaret Wilson, three grandchildren and two great-grand children. She was preceded in death by three brothers Frank Smith, Charles P. Smith, Gene A. Smith, and one sister Edna Smith. Services will be held Tuesday June 13, 2023 at 12 pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held Monday June 12, 2023 from 11 am to 5 pm at Lewis Funeral Home. The family is at the home of her daughter, Tammy Smith, 271 Meansville Rd. Apt. F6 Union, SC.
