Doris (Young) Dillard

Mrs. Doris Young Dillard, 75 wife of Mr. Wallace Dillard of 106 Lakewood Drive Union passed away Saturday January 25 2025 at her home. Mrs. Dillard was born February 17 1949 a daughter of the late Roy and Irene Gibson Young. She was a member of Beatty’s Chapel AME Zion. Surviving in addition to her Husband are one son James Paul Peppers III (Beulah), one step daughter Shatonya Dillard Rice (Adrian), one step son Darius Dillard, one brother Earl Young (Patsy), four sisters Kathy Gist (James), Sherrie Bertha (Alex), Linda Pincheon, Karen Young, three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great step grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 1 2025 at 12 noon at Beatty's Chapel AME Zion. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday from 1-5pm at the funeral home. The family is at the home. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
