Cornelia ("Roark") Ford

Rachel Cornelia "Roark" Ford, 73, of 1213 Old Pump Station Rd, Union, entered into rest on April 8, 2021. She was born in Union to the late Brady Roark and Rachael Harris Roark, she leaves behind her loving husband, Danny Cleveland Ford, and her daughters Angela Patterson Cooper, (special friend Kenny Shingleton) Cindy Sanders (Mike) Karen Trantham (Mike) Kelly Morris (Robert) and sons Joey Edwards, Joseph D. Edwards and Cleve Ford (Amy), one brother Dennis Roark (Trina), 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren, and 6 Great great-grandchildren, all of Union.  She is predeceased by one brother, W. Keith Roark (surviving wife Gerri Roark). She was a faithful member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and was a member of The United Methodist Womens Association, and volunteered on over seas mission trips. She participated in Relay for Life, and loved working in her garden and spending time with all of her loving family. Services will be held Monday April, 12,2021 at 2:00 pm with burial in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, and a visitation one hour prior to service at 1:00pm to 2:00 pm with  Chad Ponder officiating. Pallbearers will include Mike Sanders, Will Cooper, Craig Price, Ted Adams, Lance Trantham, and Dalton Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association 225 N. Michigan Ave, Fl.17 Chicago, IL 60601. the Lewis Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
