Christina Lynn Vera (Hodge) passed away, surrounded by family, on Saturday, November 18, 2023 after a sudden rupture of a brain aneurysm.
Christina was born on January 4, 1979, in San Antonio, Texas. She was an adorable, curly-haired spitfire and her spunk and tenacity carried on into adulthood where she became a business owner and then worked as an HR specialist.
Christina had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She was fearless and independent, but somehow she managed to also be incredibly compassionate and generous. She liked cooking, reading, spending time with family, and most of all, she loved helping others.
After her husband, Alex, passed in 2022 she would always say “Just live your life because you never know how much time you have left.” That is too true, and she went too soon.
Christina will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, but she will be especially missed by her daughter Nadia Vera, her father Robert Hodge, her mother Sandra Hodge, her brother Rob Hodge, her sister Brenda Tellez, and her furry friend, Lilo.
Family will hold a memorial service for her at Pacolet First Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 22nd at 3pm in the Fellowship Hall.
