Candace "Candi" (Sparks) Osborne

Mrs. Candace Sparks Osborne, "Candi", 51, wife of Mr. Mark Osborne, of 33 Pinedale Court, Prosperity SC, died Saturday,  February 13th 2021 at her home. Mrs. Osborne was born in Union, December 22nd, 1969 a daughter of Mrs. Candace Kay Davis Sparks of Union and the late Frank Bruce Sparks Sr. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Candi was a former Sunday School Teacher and also served in numerous children ministries including music. She played the piano for 25 years and sung in the choir at Browns Creek Baptist Church. She used her artistic abilities for crafts, decorating cakes and painting. She was also a beloved second grade teacher at Monarch Elementary School which was her God Given calling. She loved her students and her Monarch Stars Family. Mrs. Osborne was a 1988 graduate of Union High School. While raising a family and working multiple jobs Candi pursued her dream of becoming a teacher and graduating from Converse College in 2013 with an early childhood education degree.  Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two sons Grant and Hayden Osborne of Prosperity, a brother Bruce Sparks (Heather) of Union, a sister Stephanie K. Sparks of Union, one niece and four nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday February 20th 2021 at 2pm at New Life Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the Church prior to the service. The family will be at the home, 33 Pinedale Court, Prosperity SC and at the home of her Brother and sister-in-law, 116 Douglas Heights, Union SC. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St Jude Children Hospital, stjude.org/donate or MES Library, 218 Monarch School Dr. union SC 29379.  Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
