Brenda B Davis

Mrs. Brenda B. Davis, 71, wife of Mr. Roger Davis of 212 Lee Cemetery Road, died Friday February 18 2022 at Lexington Medical Center. Mrs. Davis was born August 10 1950 a daughter of the late Harvey and Luvenia Ammons. She was a life long member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son Rodney Davis and his wife Crystal, five grandchildren Chase Davis, Caitlin Davis (Josh Sanders), Kason Lyda, Brynlee Lyda, and Gabriel Sturkey and a special brother-in-law Dennis Davis of the home and a niece Tosha Lyda and her husband Scott. She was predeceased by a sister Debera Sturkey and a brother Hubert Boles.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday  February 22nd 2022 at 3pm at Pine Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-3 pm at the Church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Whitmire Cemetery.  Active pallbearers are Randy Smith, Todd Johnson, Todd Davis, Doug Harmon, Ronnie Garner, Billy Faulks, Ronald Garner and Roger Atkins. Honorary pallbearers include Edward Jeter, Jimmy Dunaway, Harold Lunsford and Randy Owens. The family request memorials be made to Pineridge Baptist Church, 6104 Whitmire Highway, Whitmire SC 29178. The family is at the home. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
