Bessie Mae Smith

Mrs. Bessie Mae Smith, 66, of 1205 Arthur Boulevard Union, wife of Mr. Earl Davis Smith Sr. died Monday November 13 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mrs. Smith was born August 25 1957 a daughter of the late Willie Norman and Lillie Mae Palmer. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son Earl Smith Jr., four daughters Charlotte Hopkins (Barry), Chasity Smith (James), Angela Smith, Katina Smith, eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 21 2023 at 2pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Public viewing will be held Monday from 1-5pm at the funeral home. The family is at the home of her daughter Charlotte 720 Lakeside Drive apartment J8.
