Barbara Parkins Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Cody Parkins, 84, of 4088 Cross Keys Highway Union, widow of Mr. James Lewis Parkins died Tuesday January 10 2023 at her home. Mrs. Parkins was born April 16 1938 a daughter of the late Jeter Sr. and Bertha Cody. Survivors include three sons Tim Wade (Lisa), Stephen Wade (Sharon), Scott Parkins (Debra), one brother Jeter Cody Jr. (Trudy), and ten grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter Kelly Parkins and one son Jamie Parkins. Private family services will be held Friday January 13 2023 at 2pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff of Crescent Hospice; Carolyn Tilghman and her caregiver Melissa Harger. The family is at the home. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
