Miss Ashley Nicole Hooper, 39, of 415 Pineland Road Union passed away peacefully at her home Sunday December 4th, from a two year battle with Leukemia. She was born in Union on September 20, 1983 a daughter of Belinda Douglas She was also a graduate of Union County High School. She is survived by her maternal grandparents: Charles and Shirley Douglas Taber of Union, two sisters: Brandi Revis, of Laurens, and Tiffany Hart, (Chad) of Union. Other survivors include her "Aunt Sissy" Maxine Farmer (Eddie), and Uncle Roger Douglas of Union. She is predeceased by her great-grandmother Nannie Mae Sprouse. A special mention should be given to her friends, Jennifer Alexander of Columbia, Allison Gregory of Union, and Andi Black (caretaker) of Jonesville, Oxford House friends of Columbia, and Marcia Lindsey of Avon, Indiana. Due to Ashley's faithful work with disadvantaged young ladies, "Hooper House" in Columbia, is named in her honor. Asley previously managed Mc Alisters Deli in Columbia. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and the other members of Georgia Cancer Center and Leukemia Society. She was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church of Union and will be laid to rest at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery. Graveside services will be held Wednesday December 7 2022 at 2pm at Upper Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.
