Johnny Albert Sinclair Jr.
Retired from Duke Energy
Johnny Albert Sinclair, Jr., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019.
Mr. Sinclair was born on May 11, 1944, one of five children of the late John and Gladys Lee Sinclair of Union.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Sinclair, and a sister, Rebecca Williams, both of Union; his children:  Dale Sinclair and his  wife, Cindy, of Duncan; Traci Dameron and her  husband, Paul, of Landrum; Lee Sinclair and his wife, Amanda, of Lancaster; Teresa Jardon and her husband, Danny, of Hickory, N.C.; and Billy Messer and his wife, Tally, of  Spartanburg; his grandchildren:  Josh Ham, Mandi Sinclair, Michael Ham, Zach Jardon, Keely Messer, Bailey Jardon and Gracie Messer; and several great-grandchildren.
Johnny was a lifetime resident of Union County and a lifetime member of Grace United Methodist Church. He graduated  from Union High School in 1962 and attended Spartanburg Methodist Church. He was retired from Duke Energy. He was a member of Union Masonic Lodge #75, the Union Lions Club, where he was past president, and he was a former Guardian Ad Litem.
He grew up fishing, racing cars and playing golf. He was always there when there was need. He loved feeding everyone! He had an amazing influence on people and a very kindred sprit. He provided assistance in so many ways.
Johnny loved his family. He loved his community. He loved his pets (with his favorite being Caroline.) He loved breakfast every morning at the Bantam Chef Table of Wisdom. 
Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. at Grace United Methodist church. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 with the service  to follow. Members of the Union Lions Club, the Grace Sunday School Class and Dr. Kelli Johnston are asked to sit together in a group.
In lieu of  flowers, memorials may be made to the Union Lions Club, 118 Tanglewood Drive, Union, S.C., 29379,  or Grace United Methodist Church, 201 South Church St., Union.
