James Marlin Rose

July 4, 1954 ~ September 18, 2018 (age 64)

Mr. James Marlin Rose, 64, of 229 South Street, Buffalo S.C., died Tuesday September 18th 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rose was born July 4th 1954 a son of the late Roland and Betty Chambers Rose. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, and was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Mr. Rose was also a member of The Vietnam Veterans of America, The Buffalo American Legion Post 22, AMVETS and also visited regularly with his friends at The DOGHOUSE in Buffalo. Survivors include three sons A.J. Rose of Buffalo, Luke Rose (Donna) of Greer, Adam Rose of Fort Worth Tx., a granddaughter Sylvia Rose, three special cousins Phillip Fisher (Lyndia) of Buffalo, Torance Inman (Bernice), Sara Jane Parks (Mike) all of Union, and two aunts Gwendolyn Fisher and Beuna Inman. Graveside services will be held Saturday September 22nd 2018 at 2pm at Rosemont Cemetery with Military Honors with Pastor Johnny Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, stjude.org/donate. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Torance Inman, 106 Fant Lane Union S.C.
