Brenda Jeanette (Keith) Brotz

Mrs. Brenda Jeanette Brotz, 69, wife of Mr. Paul F. Brotz, died Friday December 21st 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Brotz was born March 22nd 1949 a daughter of the late Jefferson Frazier Keith Jr. and Grace Silvers Keith. Brenda had retired from the Department of Corrections and was an active member of the Union Elks Club where she served as a Lecturing Knight and was on the House Committee. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons Dana Grady (Sandy) of Greenville SC, David Grady (Crystal) of Union, five grandchildren Danny Grady (Jesse), Dustin Grady (Kayla), Devin Grady, Makenzie Grady (Storm Edwards), Makayla Grady, and one great grand child Austyn Grady. She was predeceased by one brother Mike Keith and one sister Jackie Graham. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 26th 2018 at 1:30pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12noon-1:30pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers are Danny Grady, Devin Grady, Dustin Grady, Danny Cavender, Jeff Lawter and Storm Edwards. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the Union County Animal Shelter, friendsoftheunionscanimalshelter@yahoo.com.
