Mr. Gene Sr. and Loretta Thomas Edwards

Mr. And Mrs. Gene Sr., 84, and Loretta Thomas Edwards, 79, of 1388 Monarch Highway Union passed away Monday April 8 2024. Mr. And Mrs. Edwards were members of Fairview Baptist Church. Mr. Edwards was born May 30 1939 a son of the late Joseph Carl "J.C." and  Elvie Levesay Edwards. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Mrs. Edwards was Born August 1 1944 a daughter of the late Alton Aldofus and Rosalee Knox Thomas. She was a past member of the WMU. Survivors include one son Gene Arthur Edwards Jr. and wife Pam, one daughter Christine Inman, ten grandchildren Brandie Inman, Cassie Bradburn, Cailey Edwards, Kensi Edwards, Danny Inman, Edward Inman, Trey Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Macie Bradburn, Jessie Bradburn, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are brothers and brothers-in-law Doug Edwards and Mark Thomas and sisters and sisters-in-law Sally Epps, Joetta Edwards and Felicia Thomas.  They were predeceased by a daughter Kelly Nicole Bradburn a son Danny Eugene Edwards a grandchild Kristin Edwards Barnes, Brothers and Brothers-in-law Thomas Edwards, Emmet Edwards, Joe Edwards, and sisters and sisters-in-law Judy Hagen, Lucille Wylie, Mildred Snowden, Reva Queen, Doris Hicks, Sheryl Burrly and Carolyn Edwards.. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 16 2024 at 1pm at Fairview Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8pm at Fairview Baptist Church. The family is at the home Of Mrs. Joetta Edwards 1426 Monarch Highway Union. Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
